 My son James runs towards his teammates when they’re injured. He’s been that way since before he even started playing organized sports & was just rolling around at the skate park. Somehow, he senses when someone needs help before anyone else, & he’s always first to arrive & ask “are you ok?”
That’s not my daughter’s style. She does not go running towards chaos. Ginny does, however, not hesitate to tell you when she sees something she doesn’t think is right, & she’s articulate when she speaks up. She is NOT easily intimidated. Right now, her interests are law & the arts. In either field, her firm & thoughtful voice will shine. The world needs both of these kinds of people right now, so I’m gonna keep raising them to be them & let their strengths lead us forward.

AuthorI'm so grateful to have you here with me. I LOVE being a mom, but I'm trying to still be "me" while being a mom, & this blog has been a tool for me to figure that out.
